Many of us have seen the lists circulating on Facebook, asking how many places we’ve visited. One list includes those tourist hot spots that are on EVERYONE’s Bucket List, such as Kabul, Pyongyang, Lagos, and Tehran. Really?
Here’s a list that is far more achievable. You might not be able to claim to have visited all 100, but I’ll bet most can get to about 20 – 25.
I am intensely curious, with a spirit of adventure that is tempered by my very strong aversion to anything with potential to cause pain. I love travel, photography, reading, gardening, yoga, music and propelling myself through space (biking, dancing, walking, dancing while walking). I've never considered a lack of proficiency in any of the previous activities to be a hindrance, counting on abundant enthusiasm to make up for my shortcomings.

I was up to about 25. Interesting choice of cities… of course I have visited more than 25 cities, just not the ones on the list.
That’s the point. The Facebook lists are highly subjective. Really, who wants to go to the capitol of North Korea?
I’ve been to all 100. But that’s only because I made the list.
I visited most of these cities AFTER I retired, and of the ones I visited while working, many of the ones in the USA were because clients were located there.

Very true. It is one of many places I’ve visited that isn’t on the list.
